Mathematics for Education Program, Faculty of Science

This is a mathematics program focusing on the needs of students interested in concurrent education or consecutive education with Mathematics as a teachable subject. This program is available only in Science and Engineering , but we note that this (and other) programs is available as part of double majors or major/minor programs crossing between the Faculties Arts and Science and Engineering.

All BSc Major degree candidates must complete the program core:

Core Requirements: (27 credits MATH)

One of CSE 1540 3.0 or CSE 1530 3.0, 
MATH 1300 3.0 + MATH 1310 3.0 + MATH 2310 3.0, 
MATH 1021 3.0 + MATH 2022 3.0, 
MATH 1131 3.0 + MATH 2030 3.0, 
MATH 2041 3.0     
MATH 4100 3.0
